On the second Saturday of each month, Journey opens its doors to host an all women’s gathering from 6:30am-8am.

Each 2nd Saturday of the month, we gather women who are eager to workout together and steward their health and fitness. The purpose of these gatherings is to encourage women to faithfully obey the Lord Jesus Christ, and humbly serve their families and communities. Being fit and healthy allows women to live out this purpose with energy and endurance.

These workouts are open to ALL women, regardless of fitness level, season of life, or beliefs. Journey Training is a Christian organization that is firm in our beliefs, but this is a welcome invitation to connecting with other women who want to be healthier and connect with other women and network in the Phoenix community.

Strength of Women

How it Works:

We start the day with a quick meet and greet and explain the purpose of these gatherings. Next, we warmup and get a great workout in. We spend about 30-40min working out as a group with a designated workout written for that day for everyone to do together.

After the workout, we break out into small groups to connect. This includes introducing yourself to the group, sharing about yourself (family, work, etc) and how you are connected to the group. This time typically allows women to focus on a discussion question or topic of the day.

At the end of the day, we finish with an encouragement and challenge to the group.

Our Vision:

Our hope is that women would be encouraged by this time to steward their health and take their fitness more seriously. Additionally, and more importantly, that women would take their faith seriously and step into the role that God has given them.

Working out is a huge part of these gatherings, but this time will also be used for barbecues, hikes, and challenging discussions that would rally women together to build deeper friendships and grow personally and as a group.
